PSL 10, Match 16: Updated Points Table After Lahore Edge Past Multan

Islamabad, 27 April 2025: Lahore Qalandars claimed a five-wicket win against Multan Sultans in PSL 10 at Gaddafi Stadium, boosting their position in the points table.

After being asked to bat first, Multan Sultans posted a strong total of 185 for three.

Their captain Mohammad Rizwan played a steady innings, scoring 76 runs from 48 balls, decorated with six boundaries and three sixes.

Kamran Ghulam also made a notable contribution with 52 runs off just 31 deliveries, hitting two fours and four sixes.

In the bowling department for Qalandars, Tom Curran, Haris, and Daryl Mitchell managed to pick up one wicket each, restricting further damage.

Chasing 186 for victory, Lahore Qalandars reached the target with six balls remaining, losing five wickets along the way.

Daryl Mitchell led the chase with an impressive knock of 64 runs from 38 balls, featuring four boundaries and four sixes.

He found strong support in all-rounder Sikandar Raza, who remained unbeaten with 40 runs off 21 balls, hitting two fours and four sixes.

This win marked Lahore’s third in six matches, moving them to second place on the table, overtaking their rivals Karachi Kings. The Qalandars now have six points with a net run rate of 0.543.

Meanwhile, Multan Sultans continued their poor run, suffering a fifth defeat in six matches and staying at the bottom of the standings with just two points and a net run rate of -1.562.

Islamabad United maintained their top spot with an unbeaten record, winning all five of their matches so far.

Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators are placed fourth and fifth respectively, both with four points each.
