Islamabad, Oct 9: LDA Clears Sabzazar and Faisal Town of Illegal Occupations, Seals 10 Properties

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) successfully retrieved valuable land in Sabzazar on Tuesday from unlawful encroachments.

The Housing and Town Planning departments executed operations in Sabzazar and Faisal Town, focusing on land grabbers and illegal structures.

Headed by Housing Four Director Yawar Work, teams cleared encroachments in Block H, recovering plots that were previously occupied without authorization.

In Block L of Sabzazar, 32 kanals of land, valued at millions, was recovered from unauthorized occupation and farming activities.

During the operation, unauthorized gates and barriers in several Sabzazar blocks were dismantled, and debris was removed from vacant plots.

Encroachments around Sabzazar Hospital were also cleared to restore public accessibility.

In Faisal Town, LDA teams LDA Clears Sabzazar and Faisal Town ten commercial properties for violating commercial regulations and failing to pay fees.

The sealed properties included a hotel, pet store, tire shop, alloy rim shop, and others.

The operation was overseen by Chief Town Planner One Asad-ul-Zaman and Director of Town Planning Zone Three Sidra Tabassum.

The LDA remains dedicated to ongoing, unbiased actions against illegal constructions and commercial establishments across the city.

The LDA has removed unauthorized occupations from Sabzazar and Faisal Town, delivering a clear warning to encroachers throughout Lahore. The agency reaffirmed its dedication to enforcing regulations and cautioned that any properties breaching legal requirements will face swift action. This effort seeks to enhance urban development and deter future encroachments, which frequently cause infrastructure issues and limit public access to areas.
