Islamabad, Aug 22: Teams from the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 28 houses and partially dismantled four unlawful constructions on Wednesday while conducting operations in Johar Town, Timber Market, Gujjarpura, Allama Iqbal Town, and Sabzazar.
Three properties in Timber Market and stores in Gujjarpura were demolished as part of the operation because they were unauthorized commercial buildings. In addition, 19 properties in Sabzazar and Allama Iqbal Town were sealed due to non-payment of commercial fees. Additionally, nine Johar Town properties were sealed.
Private offices, educational institutions, supermarkets, pharmacies, specialty shops, and well-known brands are among the sealed properties.
