Islamabad, Oct 25: LDA Seals 50 Establishments for Illegal Commercial Use. Fifty more houses in the provincial capital were sealed by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Friday due to violations of the laws.
Following instructions from Director General LDA Tahir Farooq, the teams are actively carrying out daily operations against properties that have not paid commercial fees and illegal commercial buildings, according to an authority spokesman.
Fifty properties were sealed as a consequence of recent enforcement efforts in different communities. Garden Town, Faisal Town, and Sabzazar are the main areas that were targeted; LDA teams sealed 25 properties in Garden Town, 25 in Faisal Town, and 10 on Poonch Road in Samanabad.
Private schools, academies, oil stores, furniture stores, grocery stores, bakeries, pharmacies, and other commercial outlets are among the properties that have been sealed. Additionally, this operation had an impact on clinics, food outlets, and private offices.
Prior to the enforcement, the property owners had received several letters regarding their unlawful business use and failure to pay commercial rates, which prompted these proceedings. Asad-ul-Zaman, the Chief Town Planner One, oversaw the operation’s execution.
