Islamabad, Oct 30; Mayor Murtaza Wahab recently gave the engineering department of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) a severe one-week deadline, highlighting the significance of expeditiously finishing ongoing roadworks throughout the city.

The mayor emphasized the significance of fulfilling these dates by stating that carelessness would not be accepted.

Priority road projects, such as those on I.I. Chundrigar Road, Liaquat Ali Khan Road, Mai Kolachi Road, M.T. Khan Road, Queens Road, Mumtaz Hasan Road, and Jinnah Bridge, were highlighted by the mayor in his remarks. In order to improve accessibility and ease traffic flow, he recommended for accelerating work on these important routes.

In order to enhance road conditions and reduce public discomfort, he also directed that road resurfacing be completed as soon as possible on M.A. Jinnah Road, Rashid Minhas Road, Kashmir Road, Korangi 8000 Road, Shafiq Mor, and other important places.
