Islamabad, Aug 25: Pakistan lost an early wicket on the fifth day of the test match as they attempted to survive.
After putting on two runs to the score throughout the night, captain Shan Masood was out. Before being taken off guard by a Hassan Mahmud delivery, he scored 14. Babar Azam struck one outside off stump to begin his frustrating innings. Babar Azam was dismissed by Litton Das behind the stumps for a score of zero.

Pakistan, down by 94 runs and having lost 1 wicket, resumed their play on 23.
On the fifth day, Bangladesh would seek to make history by forcing Pakistan to concede as many runs as possible.

It appears from records that Bangladesh has never triumphed over Pakistan in a Test match.
Shan Masood was still at bat at the end of the fourth day, scoring nine runs, while Abdullah Shafique was still at the wicket with twelve.

Saim Ayub was out yesterday after making just one run, which gave Bangladesh the opportunity to claim his wicket.
On Day 4 of the first Test match against Pakistan, Bangladesh has taken a 117-run lead over their opponents thanks to a strong showing from Mushfiqur Rahim. Rahim was out at 191 by Mohammad Rizwan, missing nine runs to complete his double century.

Raheem earned his 11th century of the career, and it was his first century against Pakistan. Shoriful Islam scored 22 runs, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz amassed 77.

Mohammad Ali, Khurram Shahzad, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah each got two wickets, while Naseem Shah took three. With 93 runs, Shadman Islam of Bangladesh shone out as the opening batsman. Mominul Haque and Liton Das both hit half-centuries.

Pakistan, having lost six wickets, declared their first innings at 448. Mohammad Rizwan scored an undefeated 171 runs in the innings, while Saud Shakeel amassed 141 runs.
