Presently taking place in Yakutsk, Russia, for the Children of Asia Games, juvenile wrestler Hasan Ali Bhola of Pakistan has won a gold medal. Bhola, the only wrestler from Pakistan competing in the Games, won a medal for his nation after showcasing extraordinary skill throughout the competition.

Bhola made a very remarkable ascent to the top. His convincing victories over wrestlers from Tajikistan, Mongolia, and Azerbaijan allowed him to advance to the championship match. After defeating two strong Kyrgyz wrestlers in the pivotal match, Bhola won 8–2, taking home the gold medal. His performance demonstrated not just his wrestling prowess but also his strategic thinking and ability to remain composed under duress.

The Pakistan Wrestling Federation was ecstatic about the win. Heartfelt congrats to Bhola and his coach, Ghulam Fareed, were given by President Abdul Mubeen and Senior Vice President Arshad Sattar, who is also the President of the Punjab Wrestling Association. The 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games, which brought together young athletes from all over the continent, made a repeat visit to Yakutsk in 2024. Yakutsk is the largest territory of the Russian Federation and the largest administrative-territorial entity in the world.

The largest city constructed on permafrost is the capital of the republic. The first-ever Children of Asia Games were held in Yakutsk in 1996 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the modern Olympic movement.
