Islamabad, March 13, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that cricket fans will be able to enjoy eight matches of the National T20 Cup 2025 free of cost.
The matches, scheduled from March 14 to 20, will be played at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad where cricket fans will witness young star cricketers in action in shortest format.
Details regarding ticketing for the remaining matches, including the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final—set to take place from March 21 to 27—will be disclosed at a later stage, the board stated.
The tournament, running from March 15 to 27, will feature 18 teams representing 16 regional cricket associations. The matches will be hosted across three cities: Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan.
Tournament Structure and Venues
The competition will see the 18 teams divided into four groups.
- Group A consists of Karachi Region (Blues), Lahore Region (Whites), Larkana Region, Peshawar Region, and Quetta Region.
- Group B includes defending champions Karachi Region (Whites), Bahawalpur Region, Dera Murad Jamali Region, Islamabad Region, and Lahore Region (Blues).
- Group C features Abbottabad Region, Faisalabad Region, Hyderabad Region, and Rawalpindi Region.
- Group D comprises AJK Region, FATA Region, Multan Region, and Sialkot Region.
After the league-stage matches, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, which will take place on March 23 and 24 at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
Among the 39 scheduled matches, Faisalabad will host the highest number—23—including all knockout-stage games while the remaining games will be played at other venues.
The Multan Cricket Stadium will hold eight fixtures, while the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and LCCA Cricket Ground will each host four matches.
