Islamabad, Apr 10, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the prize money for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League ((PSL).

The much-awaited season is set to begin on April 11 with a grand opening ceremony followed by a clash between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.

The team that claims the PSL 10 title will receive a prize of USD 500,000 along with the Luminara Trophy. The runners-up will be awarded USD 200,000.

In an official statement, the PCB said all six teams will compete for both the title and a share of the prize pool as the league marks its 10th year.

The month-long T20 competition will feature 34 matches, running from April 11 to May 18 across four major cities.

Gaddafi Stadium is set to host 13 matches, including Eliminators and the final. Rawalpindi Stadium will stage 11 matches, including the crucial Qualifier on May 13.

National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches, contributing to a packed schedule that also includes three double-headers.

Karachi Kings captain David Warner was the only skipper absent from the official media event ahead of Pakistan Super League X.

The media conference ahead of the PSL X was attended by Mohammad Rizwan captain of Multan Sultans, and Shaheen Shah Afridi captain Lahore Qalandars.

Babar Azam captain of Peshawar Zalmi while Shadab Khan and Saud Shakeel representing Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators respectively.

Meanwhile, In absence of David Warner, Karachi Kings were represented by their newly appointed vice-captain Hasan Ali.

The former Australian opening batter opted out of the media engagement to focus on a team practice session.
