Islamabad, 24 March 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed key player replacements for the upcoming 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The adjustments were made during an online replacement draft held on Monday, with notable signings by Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
Peshawar Zalmi has secured South African all-rounder George Linde as a full replacement for Corbin Bosch in the Diamond category.
Linde was reportedly considering opting out of the PSL to join Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League (IPL) but will now be part of the Zalmi squad.
Islamabad United has enlisted Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey as a partial replacement for Rassie van der Dussen in the Supplementary category.
Additionally, Peshawar Zalmi has reserved a Gold-category replacement for Nahid Rana, while Karachi Kings have opted to reserve their pick for Litton Das, originally selected in the Silver category.
Replacements for New Zealand Mark Chapman and Kane Williamson, picked by Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, have been reserved.
PSL 10 to Begin on April 11
The much-awaited 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League is set to begin on April 11, featuring a thrilling opener between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
A total of 34 matches will take place between April 11 and May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 games, including both Eliminators and the grand final.
Rawalpindi will stage 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.
An exhibition match is also scheduled for April 8 in Peshawar, with the participating teams yet to be announced.
The tournament will feature three double-headers, including two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).
