Islamabad, Sep 4: The interviews were personally supervised by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who also completed the selection process for vice-chancellors at 11 different universities in the province.

Dr. Zubair Iqbal Ghouri has been selected to be the Vice-Chancellor of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, sources said 24NewsHD TV.

Currently serving as pro-rector at the NAMAL Hyderabad campus is Dr. Zubair. Between 1992 and 1995, he earned his MA in English from BZU Multan. He then pursued further education at Westminster University in London and a university in Thailand.

The Punjab Governor is anticipated to announce the chosen Vice-Chancellor’s official appointment shortly.
Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah is now serving in an acting capacity as the vice-chancellor of BZU Multan, having held the position for almost two years without a permanent appointment.
