Islamabad, Sep 17: According to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, “we must follow his teachings in letter and spirit” in the volatile times we live in, rather than only reading about the life of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
He stated in his speech on Rabiul Awwal 12, 1446, that the best way to overcome the problems of the modern day was to adhere fully to the vision and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).The Prime Minister greeted the people of Pakistan in particular and the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
He called on the country to adhere to the precepts of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), stressing assistance for the weak and giving priority to those who are experiencing hunger and hardship and making it a habit to assist others.
He underlined that it was our collective responsibility to emulate the Prophet (PBUH) in lending a hand and improving the lives of others, paying particular attention to those who are facing adversity, hunger, and poverty.
“Today is a great day to commemorate the day that Allah Almighty illuminated humanity’s path until the Day of Judgment by sending the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) into the world,” stated the Prime Minister.
“Everyone’s life journey will be inspired and illuminated by the guidance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), whose virtuous life, exemplary character, and noble teachings serve as a radiant beacon, illuminating the path for all humanity,” the speaker stated.
He continued by saying that the Prophet (PBUH) set an example for how people should live in prosperity and harmony by respecting the universal values of justice, tolerance, and love via his words and deeds.
He asserted that the principles of brotherhood, togetherness, and love that the Prophet (PBUH) imparted to his disciples “are the keys to overcoming our social and economic challenges.” The prime minister said, “Let us commit on this occasion to set aside our differences and work together for the progress and prosperity of our beloved.”
PM Shehbaz called on the country to show support for the oppressed people of Kashmir and the Palestinians, who were subjected to severe persecution.The prime minister urged the country to make a commitment to upholding the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on this auspicious occasion and to work toward creating a society that is characterized by equality, harmony, and peace.
May Allah Almighty lead us to follow the way of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and establish Pakistan as a hub of prosperity, advancement, and peace. He concluded, “Amen.”
