Islamabad, Sep 24: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his congratulations to the government and people of Saudi Arabia on the Kingdom’s 94th National Day, commemorating its unification by King Abdul Aziz in 1932.

In his message, PM Shehbaz praised the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, recognizing Saudi Arabia’s rise as a leading nation of the 21st century.

He lauded the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 as a global model for progress in business, technology, and the economy, highlighting the enduring, historic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia based on shared religious and cultural values.

The prime minister expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s support in stabilizing Pakistan’s economy and looked forward to continuing close relations.

Additionally, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad, where he met Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Ahmed Al-Maliki to mark the occasion.

Naqvi congratulated the ambassador and conveyed good wishes for the Saudi Royal Family and people.

He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support during Pakistan’s crises, such as floods, earthquakes, and economic challenges. Ambassador Al-Maliki reaffirmed the strength of the brotherly relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of their historic friendship.
