Islamabad, 21 April 2025: Islamabad United continued their unbeaten run in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.

The three-times champions secured a convincing six-wicket win over Karachi Kings at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Sunday.

Karachi Kings, asked to bat first, struggled throughout their innings and posted a modest total of 128 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs.

Their batters found it difficult to counter a well-organised Islamabad bowling unit. Tim Seifert emerged as the top scorer with a sluggish 30 from 37 deliveries.

Lower-order batter Abbas Afridi offered a brief spark with a quick 24 off just nine balls, but the team failed to generate any momentum.

In response, Islamabad United chased down the target with ease, reaching the finish line in 17.1 overs with six wickets in hand.

Captain Shadab Khan led from the front, scoring a fluent 47 off 40 balls, while wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan added 31 from 30 deliveries to seal the result.

This win marked Islamabad’s fourth consecutive victory in as many matches, placing them comfortably at the top of the table with eight points and a commanding net run rate of 2.544.

Karachi Kings, despite having won two of their earlier matches, slipped due to their second defeat, denting their net run rate which now stands at -0.343.
