Islamabad, July 31: The Punjab government has authorized nine development initiatives totaling more than PKR 50 billion.
According to the information, the approval was granted at the 10th Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) meeting, which was presided over by Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, Chairman of the P&D Board. With an anticipated total cost of PKR 50,766.848 million, these programs span a number of industries, including energy, roads and bridges, irrigation, urban development, and school education.
Important initiatives include of:
Realigning Tunnelwah Nullah and extending the Colony Protection Bund of Marala Barrage in the Sialkot District will cost PKR 3,162.289 million.
The program Apni Chaat Apna Ghar is valued at PKR 9,889.681 million.
Chief Minister: PKR 6,011.228 million for the Punjab Schools Meal Program.
Agro-Forestry for Forest Waste Land: The CM Initiative, valued at PKR 1,000 million.
“Plant for Pakistan” project of the chief minister, worth PKR 8,000 million.
In Punjab, there is aquaculture shrimp farming of PKR 8,530.490 million.
At PKR 9,500 million is the Chief Minister Roshan Gharaana Program.
G.T. Road rehabilitation in Lahore, Pakistan, costing PKR 3,282.450 million, runs from Quaid-e-Azam Interchange to Wagah Border.
At PKR 1,390.710 million, an underpass is being built at the Kachehri Rasulnagar Road Railway Crossing in Sheikhupura.
Dr. Asif Tufail, the secretary of the P&D Board, Dr. Nasir Iqbal Malik, the chief economist, and other top officials from pertinent provincial departments attended the meeting.
