In an effort to maintain a manageable student-teacher ratio, the new policy restricts government schools to admitting only 10% of the total student capacity for each class. Consequently, this will limit the overall number of new students across these institutions.
Annual exams for Classes I to VIII will take place from March 12 to March 25. The team will announce the results on March 31.
On the private school front, Abrar Ahmad Khan, President of the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA), shared insights into the timeline for private institutions. Private schools will begin accepting new students on February 1, with annual exams scheduled for February. Their new academic year will commence in March, aligning with the usual academic calendar.
With these structured timelines in place, both private and government schools will have ample time to organize their curricula, assessments, and admissions in a smooth and efficient manner.
