Islamabad, Oct 1: The results for the Intermediate Part I exams have been released by different boards in Punjab.

Lahore
The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) reported that 162,000 candidates participated in the exams, with 84,785 students passing, resulting in a success rate of 52%. Unfortunately, over 77,000 students did not succeed, leading to a failure rate of 48%.

Gujranwala
The Gujranwala BISE announced that 131,397 students took the Intermediate Part I exams, with 68,071 candidates passing, yielding a success rate of 51%. Consequently, 63,326 students were declared failed, as stated by Chairman Naveed Haider Shirazi.

Sahiwal
The Sahiwal board reported similar results, with 39,855 students participating in the exams. Out of these, 20,323 students passed, resulting in an overall success rate of 51%, according to the board’s chairman.

Faisalabad
According to the Faisalabad BISE, 98,834 candidates sat for the Intermediate Part I exams, and 63,806 students passed, achieving a success rate of 64.56%.

Multan
Chairperson Maryam Khan of the Multan board announced the results for the 11th Intermediate Part 1 Results, revealing that 68,674 students participated. Of these, 37,814 candidates passed, resulting in a success rate of 55%.
