Islamabad, Oct 16: Punjab Considers Ban on Property Transfers in Lahore’s Illegal Housing Schemes, Major Crackdown on Unregulated Developments. A restriction on the sale of plot files related to illicit housing schemes in Lahore has been proposed by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, who has started a comprehensive investigation into these schemes.

According to specifics, Ban on Property Transfers, the CM instructed the Director General of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to prepare an extensive report within the next 15 days at a special meeting called to discuss this urgent matter.

The Chief Minister urged development organizations to create a comprehensive plan for fixing the many potholes that plague Lahore’s roads in addition to addressing unlawful housing practices. This forum also examined the “LDA Development and CM Initiative,” which demonstrated the government’s dedication to enhancing urban infrastructure.

Senator Pervez Rashid, Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Minister Azma Zahid Bokhari, Lieutenant General Mian Marghub Ahmed, MPA Sania Ashiq, the Chief Secretary, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, the Secretary of Housing, the DG LDA, and other pertinent officials were among those in attendance.

Speaking on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit Conference, the Chief Minister called it a landmark event for Pakistan. She emphasized how crucial this gathering is to advancing wealth and development in the area.
