ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 2: Following an operation against unlicensed residential-commercial constructions, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Enforcement Squad sealed eighteen educational facilities.

The following educational institutes were sealed:

  • Thematic Montessori School
  • Minar Public School
  • The Arqam School
  • Al-Huda School
  • Allied School
  • Step College
  • Jinnah Iqbal Educator
  • Diction School
  • Educator School
  • Jinnah Foundation School
  • The Future Education
  • The Future Oasis School
  • The Bestever School

These schools were located in the Asghar Mall Housing Scheme, Eidgah Scheme, and Dosehra Ground Scheme areas of Rawalpindi.

An RDA representative stated that the Enforcement Squad, including of two Assistant Directors, Building Control, the Building Superintendent, and Building Inspectors, carried out the operation in Rawalpindi.
Police from the Banni police station helped them. These educational facilities were sealed as a result of the team’s targeting of unauthorized residential and commercial structures.

before notice was given to property owners before to the enforcement action, according to the RDA spokeswoman. The properties that were sealed belonged to the following people: Amjid, Shezad Sadique, Amir Malik, Anjum Butt, Rafique Shah, Mian Naheem, Ch Asim, Muhammad Irfan, Zumard Javeed Qureshi, Shabir Ahmed Abbasi, and Khan Asad.

These proprietors were found to have violated the authorized designs, the Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976, the RDA Building and Zoning Regulations 2020, and the law by constructing unlawful commercial structures without the necessary consent or No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
