Islamabad, Aug 27: In Sherpao Colony and Saidpur Housing Scheme, the RDA Enforcement Squad conducted an operation against unlicensed commercial constructions under the supervision of Kinza Murtaza, Director General of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
The squad blocked Shah Cement Agency and Medical Company Zaib Distributor at Plot No. 375 in the Saidpur Housing Scheme and destroyed a business and a cottage on Plot No. 17 in Sherpao Colony during the operation.
Waris Khan and Banni Police Stations provided support to the enforcement team, which also included the Assistant Director of Building Control, Building Inspectors, and other officials. It was discovered that Muhammad Mushtaq and Mr. Shafiq, the property owners, had violated authorized building plans and maps.
They kept breaking the law by developing unauthorized commercial structures without getting the required permissions or No Objection Certificates (NOCs), even after getting prior warnings from the RDA.
