Islamabad, Oct 22: The Safe City project was launched on Monday in Sargodha where modern surveillance cameras for security measures proposed to utilize Face recognition technology have been initially installed.
Thus, reported preliminary information says that in the first stage of the project, the cameras will be installed on the main roads. Money will be directed toward purchasing the necessary cameras both at the internal city streets and at the external roads to make residents feel safe.
The authorities are at the moment choosing different places to install cameras and the process will be efficient.
Consequently, consultations are still being made to all the Station House Officers (SHOs) within the local police stations with the aim of fast tracking the project.

The Safe City Project in Sargodha is the project that will help to make the city safer for people to live and visit. The combination of metal detection and high-definition security cameras help the authorities to take several precautions while on duty and assist to control criminal activities during the night.
