Islamabad, Nov 2: Toyota Land Cruiser ROX Classic Style Meets Modern Off-Roading

Toyota has shown the intriguing Land Cruiser ROX concept, a tough, open-top SUV designed for off-road excursions. At the SEMA event in Las Vegas, this distinctive design will make its debut.

ROX, which stands for “Recreation Open eXperience,” was inspired by vintage Land Cruisers and represents Toyota’s goal of an enjoyable, adaptable off-road vehicle.

What’s New?

Though significantly altered, the ROX concept is based on the 2024 Land Cruiser. A portion of the SUV may be converted into a pickup truck bed thanks to its open rear section and sliding soft top. For increased robustness, the A-pillars are shaped like a trestle bridge, and a rear pillar has Molle panels that let users fasten equipment for outside use.

Seven auxiliary lights illuminate the trails, and a triple-bar roof rack is supported by the gray roof bars. In order to enable drivers to carry longer things and provide access to tailgate seating, Toyota installed a midgate that connects the cabin and the bed.

Inspired by classic Land Cruisers, the ROX is painted Spring Green and has a winch, steel bumpers, and red tow hooks. The “skeleton” style doors provide the car a dramatic appearance while lowering weight and resting above strong rock rails.

Toyota used aluminum control arms to expand the stance by eight inches and lift the suspension by four inches. Large off-road tires on 18-inch billet wheels are housed in the wide fender flares, giving the ROX an aggressive look that is ideal for off-road driving.

The ROX’s interior features Heritage Orange leather seats, 3D-printed waterproof components, and small item storage webbing. Even though the ROX is now just a concept, it demonstrates Toyota’s interest in developing distinctive Land Cruiser variants for future adventurers.
