Islamabad, Jan 19: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a revolutionary multi-entry visit visa, enabling foreigners to stay for 30, 60, or 90 days without the need for a local sponsor or guarantor. This initiative is a game-changer for many, especially Pakistanis who have faced hurdles in securing family or personal visit visas in the past.

This visa allows individuals to visit close family members, including parents, spouses, children, or siblings. Applicants are required to present proof of relationship, such as marriage or birth certificates, to validate their application. For friends, the visa is accessible with valid reasons like attending special events or spending quality time with associates.

Eligibility and Documentation

To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Passport: Valid for at least six months.
  • Photographs: Two recent passport-sized photos.
  • Financial Proof: Documents such as bank statements or salary certificates.

Additionally, salaried individuals must provide their employment contract or salary certificate, while business owners need to submit their trade license or partnership contract.

Visa Costs and Fees

The visa fees are affordable, with a structured pricing model:

  • 30-day visa: AED 300 (approx. PKR 22,755).
  • 60-day visa: AED 500 (approx. PKR 37,925).
  • 90-day visa: AED 700 (approx. PKR 53,095).

Applicants are also required to deposit a refundable AED 2,000 (PKR 151,700) as financial security. Medical insurance, ranging between AED 40 and AED 90 (PKR 3,034 to PKR 6,825), must be obtained based on the visa duration.

Application Process

The visa application is seamless and can be completed through the GDRFA website, mobile app, or customer service centers across the UAE. Applicants need to submit their documents, pay the applicable fees, and follow the verification process.

This new multi-entry visa is a significant relief for Pakistanis and others wishing to reconnect with family and friends in the UAE without the complexities of traditional sponsorship.
