The star batter’s verified account appeared in the list of people who liked the post, prompting fans to speculate on the nature of the interaction.
However, shortly after the post gained attention, Kohli removed the like, sparking further curiosity online.

In response to the growing buzz, Kohli issued a clarification on his Instagram story, explaining that the like was a result of a technical glitch caused by the Instagram algorithm.
He reassured his followers, saying, “While clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction.
There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”
This statement came just one day after Kohli had posted a heartfelt birthday message for his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
