This new feature builds on the app’s recent enhancements to the status section, which includes an updated interface and new reaction options. Users can expect more interactive tools to further improve their WhatsApp experience in future updates.

Previously WhatsApp rolled out four new features aimed at making chats with friends and loved ones more engaging and enjoyable.

However,  the company announced the introduction of camera effects, selfie stickers, quicker reactions, and sticker pack sharing to streamline and enhance the messaging experience.

“With this update, users will have access to 30 backgrounds, filters, and effects for photos or videos captured within chats,” the post read. These options will enable users to add creative touches to their media, improving the overall messaging experience.
