The Kenwood P7+, unveiled on November 7th, has generated significant interest in the tech and automotive community. Consumers have shown intense enthusiasm, similar to the excitement surrounding Xpeng AI-feature-rich electric vehicles.

On the first day of its launch, buyers placed over 31,500 orders for Xpeng vehicles—a historic milestone for the company. Once the countdown for orders began, consumers placed over 10,000 firm orders within just 12 minutes, highlighting the market’s eagerness for innovative, AI-integrated electric vehicles like Xpeng’s and the new Kenwood P7+.

Specifications

The P7+ is available in three versions, each with different ranges and acceleration times:

  • Long Range Max: Range of 602-615 km, 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds
  • Ultra Long-Range Max: Range of 710-725 km, 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds
  • Limited Edition Max: Range of 685-700 km, 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds; only 500 units are available

The prices for these versions range from 186,800 to 218,800 Yuan ($26,100 – $30,600).
