Islamabad, Apr 12, 2025: Peshawar Zalmi are set to begin their Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 journey against Quetta Gladiators today in Rawalpindi .
The high-octane encounter between the two former PSL champions is scheduled to start at 3:30 at the iconic Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi enter the tournament aiming to build on their strong showing in the 2024 season.
The team had finished second in the league stage last year with six wins from ten matches, but their form dipped in the playoffs.

They were defeated by Multan Sultans in the qualifier and later knocked out by eventual champions Islamabad United.
Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, are looking to revive their fortunes.
Once a dominant side in the early years of the PSL, the Gladiators reached three finals between 2016 and 2019, lifting the trophy in 2019.
During that period, they also boasted the best win-loss record in the league.
However, recent seasons have seen a steep decline in performance, with just 18 victories in their last 49 matches.
Both Pakistan Super League teams will be keen to start season 10th campaign on a positive note.
