Islamabad, Aug 28: Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives has emphasized the significance of utilizing China’s technological innovations and knowledge in the country’s agricultural sector.

According to a news release, he voiced his opinions on Tuesday when presiding over a meeting about the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China.

Participants in the discussion talked about the potential for sending provincial agriculture sector specialists to China for more development and information sharing.

The minister added that Pakistan would bring up the matter of lowering visa requirements for its entrepreneurs with the Chinese embassy. He claimed that the trade delegation exchange would contribute to the development of confidence between the two nations’ private sectors. In addition, he said that Pakistan was doing everything in its power to protect Chinese officials and investors.

In order to create an atmosphere that is favorable for trade and investment, the minister reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to offering private investors all facilities and taking the required actions to remove barriers preventing foreign investment. Within a week, he gave the pertinent authorities instructions to finish and submit a framework that outlined the requirements for the success and quality of industrial sectors in order to transfer Chinese enterprises to Pakistan.
